I just came back from eating wtih my parents. Jap food really can't taste any better. It just hit me... how many people out there are really happy with the way things really are? Well at least i'm not there, like i said to Choon Ling, "there has to be something better than this". I'm sure we won't be expecting huge changes like a truck load full of money suddenly landing on our doorsteps, but is the quest for happiness just a simple desire or is it an imaginary state of mind that will always elude our grasps? Unlikely for anybody to answer that...besides a buddhist monk...

You know, i just spent an hour of my life in a stupid traffic jam that stretched for about 400 metres... can these people at LDP or MPSJ spend a little bit more money to pay a consultant to design a better traffic system...

Crap.. there was this statistic done in the US and it was like a person of age of 60 would have spent 1/3 of every waking moment waiting for something, be it bus, train, coffee machine, or even traffic jams...

Now luckily i had some tarts in the car, so i didn't starve... Oh by the way to add more salt to the wound.. this morning i reversed into a Honda Accord, suprise ... he was a junior that just joined engineering.. i gave him my contact and i'm just wating to see if he'll call and ask me to pay for the damages.. i would guess .. at least RM400... can my day get any better.... i hope not...

This is a good message... one that i'm glad got compiled together nicely... thanks to 1yz

You'll know that you miss someone very much when every time you think of that person, your heart
beats faster. And just a quick warm "Hello" from that person calm you down...

Bottomline : You might have fallen for that person, just that you have
notrealised or refuse to admit.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Don't be too good, I will miss you. Don't be too caring, I might like you. Don't be too sweet, I
might fall for you. It's hard for me to love you when you won't love me after all...

Bottomline : A person who makes me loves him/her is actually a person
who loves me more than I love him/her.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

If someone comes into your life and becomes a part of you but for some reasons he couldn't stay,
don't cry too much...just be glad that your paths crossed and somehow he made you happy even for
a while

Bottomline : Time will tell, If he's yours he will come back

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Don't throw your back to love when it's already in front of you, don't drive it away from you
because if you did, someday you'll think again why you let love fly away when it was once next
to you

Bottomline : Treasure the one who loves you, it's not easy to find a
person who loves you. it's always more valuable to have a
sincere heart.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

The greatest regrets in our lives are the risks we did not take. If you think something will
make you happy, go for it. Remember that we pass this way only once

Bottomline : Time don't wait. If you think you might have found the
right one, treasure him/her. don't let he/she go away.
Don't let fear hold you back. Give it a try else you might
regret later...no one other than yourself knows what can
truly make you happy.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Two tear drops were floating down the river. One teardrop said to the other, "I'm the teardrop
of a girl who loved a man and lost him. Who are you?" "I'm the teardrop of the man who regret
letting a girl go..."

Bottomline : Nobody will sympathise a person who constantly let chances
passes by without making any efforts to salvage. We
normally don't realise how important our loved and closed
ones are until they left us, we'll start reminiscences
which results misery.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

It's so funny how we set qualifications for the rightperson to love, while at the back of our
minds we know that the person we truly love will always be an exception.

Bottomline : We are critical especially to the one we like or love
because we want them to be the best, constantly seeking for
perfection, which should be worked out by both parties in a
relationship and not one party alone to shoulder the
burden.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Love can make you happy although often times it hurts. But love is only special if you give it
to which it's worth.

Bottomline : If you found someone who truly appreciates you, He/she
deserves more of your love.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

To love is like playing the piano. First, you play by the rules. Then, you must forget the rules
and play from the heart.

Bottomline : Trust is important , to trust a person you like/love must
first let the person you like/love trust you. Have
confidence in yourself and the person who likes/loves you.
Never leave them doubts and don't doubt what he/she has to
give.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

What If someone tells you this: I don't believe in courtship. It's just a waste of time. If I
love the person, I'll tell her right away. But for you I will make an exception...just love me
now and I'll court you forever...

Bottomline : Love needs time to realise, there might be love at first
sight but it takes time to let one gradually discover
their affection towards another, miss him/her when he/she
is not around, hope to hear from he/she when the person
haven't writes or call.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

It's always better to have found the courage to love even if you lose it in the end rather than
never found love because you were too afraid of the challenge.

Bottomline : Don't give up if you face or think that you have
competitors. It's always better to try, if you succeed, the
reward is more than you can expect. but if you don't try or
don't summon up the courage, you might lose the one you
like/love forever...

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

You never lose in loving. You only lose in holding back.

Bottomline : Don't be afraid to tell the person you like/love how much
you like/love him/her. let them know, let them decide and
make a decision. The best thing in life is to tell the
person you like/love how important they are to you, by
doing so, you feel liberated. And you are proud of yourself
because you are responsible to your own feelings. Never
betray your own feelings, because you are the only one who
suffers, no one else.

The power of the mind.

University and pre-u is there to test us. Not only does it train us to be more sociable, but it trains us to increase our learning curve, soaking up as much knowledge without spilling over. And it has also come to my attention that it also teaches us to motivate ourselves. The ability to juggle between your studies, social and to maintain your health mentally and physically makes us stronger. And our ability to strive under these conditions makes us ready to take on the world.

The only obstacle is our mind.

Oh i have a new lecturer who graduated from MIT and he worked with Intel for 30+ years. I think he'll really give us alot of work and expect alot from us. Well at least there is somebody with alot of experience in the industry. See you soon.

Work Vs Prison

IN PRISON you spend the majority of your time in an 8x10 cell.
AT WORK you spend most of your time in a 6x8 cubicle.

IN PRISON you get three meals a day.
AT WORK you only get a break for 1 meal and you have to pay for it.

IN PRISON you get time off for good behaviour.
AT WORK you get rewarded for good behaviour with more work.

IN PRISON a guard locks and unlocks all the doors for you.
AT WORK you must carry around a security card and unlock and open all the doors yourself.

IN PRISON you can watch TV and play games.
AT WORK you get fired for watching TV and playing games.

IN PRISON you get your own toilet.
AT WORK you have to share.

IN PRISON they allow your family and friends to visit.
AT WORK you cannot even speak to your family and friends.

IN PRISON all expenses are paid by taxpayers with no work required.
AT WORK you get to pay all the expenses to go to work and then they deduct taxes from your salary to pay for prisoners.

IN PRISON you spend most of your life looking through bars from the inside wanting to get out.
AT WORK you spend most of your time wanting to get out and inside bars.

IN PRISON there are wardens who are often sadistic.
AT WORK they are called managers.

Here are some funny stuff that Jack mails me:

Some words of *wisdom*...

if your father-in-law is a poor man, it's your stupidity.

I was born intelligent - education ruined me.

Love thy neighbor.
But don't get caught.

Behind every successful man, there is a woman.
And behind every unsuccessful man, there are two.

Every man should marry.
After all, happiness is not the only thing in life.

the wise never marry.
and when they marry they become otherwise.

It brings so many relatives.

But why take the risk !

"Work fascinates me"
I can look at it for hours !

God made relatives;
Thank God we can choose our friends.

A dress is like a barbed fence

The more you learn, the more you know,
The more you know, the more you forget
The more you forget, the less you know
So.. why learn.
Just Do It...

After long hours of having chats with my friends, namely Chee Hong and Hon Mun, i have finally figured out something. If we want something done, we have to kick the habit of procrastinating and just do it.

For example , if you you want to exercise don't think about it every moment you wished for it would have been better spent just going down and to try do some pushups. Lets say that you want to learn something technical, like lets say web page designing, i have been delaying about it for soo long that i can't even remember when i wanted to make one. Well all i had to was to pick up a program, lets say Netscape Composer, or Microsoft Frontpage. and just play around. If you get stuck you can always find somebody to help you. If you can't then you have another skill to learn, socialising and communications. Don't have a girl/boy friend? for freaking sake, go out and find one. The worst case would just be making another friend and if that individual brushes you off, well it is his/her loss.

Don't wait till you die and start regretting about the things in life you didn't get to do, you should be enjoying the moment of learning somethign new. Just get up and for you own sake.... Just Do It....

You know the good thing about this weblog services is that it enables a person to put up his own content easily. I always wanted to start a webpage and after my cousin told me about Blogger.com, well what you are reading now is a product of it, thanks for coming. Come back more often to here more of my nonsense rantings.

Oh yeah... this is like the last weekend to relax. After that would be serious studying... i hope. It's just another hectic semester.

Did i mention that Final Fantasy was sooo good? It rang true in terms of developement of the story, but doesn't really feel like the game at all. The games requires at least 20 hours plus of play time. This movie just compressed it all... but it's ok the eye candy makes up... when it reached the mid portion , you kinda forget that it is al CG, but then when you see the kissing and even the skin flaws. It's just worth it.

I swear, the first scene where Dr. Aki Ross stands in the waste lands, everybody just said "waaah" , and i had my jaws drooping there for the first 10 minutes. Definitly the final of all "Final Fantasies". Oh the malay translation was literal, it was written "fantasi terakhir", that got alot of people laughing.

A good final fantasy to you.....

Hey i finally decided on a colour scheme for my whole page... i just made it match my blog page . I also included my frens blogs, which are Choon Ling, Nina and Maybelle, i wouldn;t mind including anna's but i don't know her so i don't think i have the right to include it in my page. Maybelle thinks my page sucks. Blah Blah. Fine i'm not good but at least i'm improving.

The best things in life aren't things.

Took me a long time to realise this. My 3rd semester in Electrical & Computer Systems engineering taught me that. I found myself just plain stoned after the exams. The only thing that can show you that you exist are your friends. That is why i realised no matter how much i waste my time on Swirve's Earth 2025 or how much time i spend on Playstation, it would never be beneficial. That is why during this holiday, which is going to come to an end pretty soon, i devoted alot of my time to following my sensei (Karate) around learning from and training for him.

I learnt something plain and simple, if you want things done, don't wait and just talk about it just go out and do it. I had problems with weight, fitness and low self esteem, and i had always wanted to join martial arts. Well i finally joined in my final year of high school. I have not looked back ever since. With a master which was Malaysia's No. 1 fighter 20 years ago, i am indeed fortunate to actually learn from him. Luckily karate goju-ryu rather than any other diluted arts around like taekwondo. I swear to you, their art is so diluted that it isn't even reliable to be used for real life, rather for tournaments and for show. The irony of it though is that my karate style is also diluted, compared to the stuff that i do, i would guess that the real 3rd dans from Okinawa are real exponents. I could go on and on about this but i think i ran away from the topic.

Anyway i wanted to write something about how much i value the friendship of my friends, Jen and Claudia, who both have just left to Australia for their education. The way you guys made an impact in my life can't even be summarized into text. So i just want to say bon voyage and i hope you guys find it ok in OZland. I'll see you guys again prety soon, I hope.

Cheers.

Tal Bachman – Beside You (for 1yz)

Throughout the passing years,
as all the world seems ever changing,
We share the smiles and tears,
of life with love that is so far ancient,.

And after all said and done,
I’ll be the one beside you,
I’ll be your love and loyal friend until the end, beside you.

Each flower blooms with time,
Each leaf descends with every autumn,
But you and I will find,
Our love won’t die and be forgotten,

And after all said and done,
I’ll be the one beside you,
I’ll be your love and loyal friend until the end, beside you.

When you and I are grey,
When youth is gone and life is dimming,
I’ll promise that I’ll stay,
Beside you like we were at the beginning,

And after all said and done,
I’ll be the one beside you,
I’ll be your love and loyal friend until the end, beside you.
